A great site about Belgian medals but
unfortunately only in Dutch at the moment I look
forward to an English version one day!

I have promised to review my website more frequently, hence this update today! It shows some interesting additions to my collection,
particularly of WW2 Commemorative medals with bars and ellipses. However, I recently had my father's medals "court-mounted" and in the
process his 1st Army bar went missing - fortunately it was located and the group is now complete - see below.

Please enjoy these new additions to my collection.

                                                                                                                                                                                                   Bill Simpson

My father's - Samuel George Simpson - group of medals from his service as a motor cycle dispatch rider in North Africa and Italy
during World War II

These are my father-in-law's medals - a British Empire Medal and an Imperial Service Medal. His name was Leonard Brooker and
he served at H.M. Dockyard Chatham for many years.

An interesting unofficial medal acquired in recent months.

Silver and Bronze medals from the National Work Exposition of 1954 bearing the profile of Queen Elisabeth.

Another interesting King Albert unofficial medal from Ixelles.
