| Bill's Belgian Medals Lifesaving Medals |

In collecting medals, like many others, I have tended to favour particular types of award. Lifesaving awards normally carry the identity of the recipient engraved on the medal itself and thus can be attributed to an individual. But my collection was given a particular lift when I acquired a group of lifesaving medals from the middle of the 19th century - all from the same family. I have presented my collection below for the benefit of fellow medal collectors and visitors to Bill's Belgian Medals. Bill Simpson |
