The Military Cross was instituted on February 11, 1885 and is awarded, in two classes, to officers of the Belgian armed forces for 25 years of loyal, uninterrupted service. Reserve officers can also be awarded this decoration provided they underwent a yearly training period every year. I have displayed my collection below which ranges from King Leopold 2 through King Albert to current examples. |
