A great addition to my collection is the Africa Star Commander. |

TThis is a fabulous Great War group of seven medals on a "ball bar" together with a rare Yser meal with a Croix de Guerre Fourragere - a great find. Below are other interesting recent additions to my collection. |

I was delighted to add to my collection of resistance medals. The medal at left is that awarded by the Association of POW and Aircrew Helpers - Association Passeurs d'Hommes. The medal at centre is the Belgian Federation of Belgian Resistance of the Ardennes - what does the skull represent? The final medal at right I believe is another unofficial resistance medal but I have no information on it. |

This is an interesting Table Medal recognising the services of Gilbert A Jell and presented by Roland F Hill and was commissioned by the Committee for Relief in Belgium. At right is a large and very unusual table medal in the form of a Red Cross - does anyone have any information on the plaque? |

This wonderful group to Edmond Berth, complete with documentation also came my way recently. Classic Great War volunteer group with an Article 4 medal for bravery, the Liege Medal and the scarce King Albert Medal issued to those individuals who, during the war, rendered conspicuous services by promoting, organizing and administrating works of a charitable and humanitarian nature. |
focus on anything else for many months now. However, the upside has been frequent travel to New York. I have been able to add to my collection despite the travel and I have presented these on this page. I trust that you will enjoy it. The medal above is a late but welcome addition. It is the Leopold 11 Grand Cross, sash badge and breast star. However, there are many more additions in the Acquisitions section below. Bill Simpson |
